The macOS port recreates the original workflow without installing a background service or modifying your normal browser.
Launch
Open the isolated browser from Ichigo Unlocker or directly from the new Desktop app.
Install once
Install Manga Translator in that profile. The extension and settings persist for future launches.

Firefox and Safari use different extension and security models, so they are not presented as supported when they cannot provide the same behavior.
Read before using
The unlocked profile is intentionally less secure.
The launcher disables important same-origin protections. Use the isolated profile only for Manga Translator. Never sign into email, banking, password managers, work systems, or other sensitive accounts inside it.
Development build
Transparent about what is—and isn’t—finished.
The launcher flow is tested end to end on Apple Silicon and the Intel slice under Rosetta. Releases are currently ad-hoc signed, so macOS may require approval under Privacy & Security on first launch.
